What started as a single golf outing has grown into a purpose-driven day built on competition, community, and real impact. Swing For A Cure brings players together for a well-run, competitive event, all in support of the Lupus Foundation of America and its mission to fund critical lupus research and provide meaningful patient support.
Since our last Swing For A Cure, the lupus community has seen meaningful progress. The FDA granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation to Biogen’s investigational drug, litifilimab, for cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE), a major milestone for a condition with no targeted treatments currently available. Beyond new drug development, advancements in biologic therapies, improved disease activity monitoring tools, and expanded clinical trial access continue to reshape lupus care, with the Lupus Foundation of America helping accelerate research, strengthen clinical trial infrastructure, and support patient education.
With more than $5,300 raised to date, this event has helped support the momentum behind advancements like these. This year, we continue building, pairing elevated on-course contests, stronger prizes, and a premium post-round experience with a mission that reaches far beyond the fairways.
